David Bowie - Born David Robert Jones on 8 January 1947, Bowie is also known as “The Thin White Duke", or "Ziggy Stardust". Born in Brixton, London, he grew up at the address of 40 Stansfield Road. He lived in Brixton until he was six years old, when his family moved to Bromley in Kent. Bowie first came to fame in 1969 with his single "Space Oddity", supposedly released to coincide with the first moon landing, although Bowie himself has claimed that this is untrue. Some of Bowie’s more famous albums that have been released on limited addition picture disc’s include, “Diamond Dogs”, with a spoken word introduction Diamond Dogs was the product of two distinct ideas: a musical based on a wild future in a post-apocalyptic city, and setting George Orwell's 1984 to music ("1984", "Big Brother", "We Are the Dead"). Aladdin Sane which was recorded at Trident Studios in London from December 1972 to January 1973 and included the two hit singles, "The Jean Genie" and "Drive-In Saturday" other Bowie picture disc’s include;
